Biography

Health is a major concern for Awa Marie Coll-Seck. Professor of Medicine, it turned to the general public of Senegal by its union demands for better working conditions and social medical profession. The Minister of Health and Social Action was from 1984, the first Senegalese Associate Medical specialist in infectious and tropical diseases. This aggregation, she was the Head of Department of Infectious Diseases at the University Hospital Center of Fann.
