Agency Assistance to Close Security (ASP)

Presentation

The Agency Assistance to Close Security (ASP ) was established by Decree No. 2013-1063 of August 5 2013.Elle is directed from August 6, 2013 by the Director General Khaly Papa Niang , Lawyer, Doctor of Law and Criminal Sciences .
The ASP is placed both under the technical supervision of the Ministry of Interior and the financial supervision of the Ministry of Economy and Finance. It is based on the triptych : Prevention Assistance - Help

Missions

According to the above Decree, the Agency is involved in connection with the police authorities and security forces (Police and Gendarmerie), the implementation of a security police nearby, built around prevention and active partnership between the State, Local government and actors of social life

As such, it is responsible for:
- Participate in the development and implementation in relation to the various players, the national plan to prevent and fight against crime;
- Participate in the creation of local security contracts linking with the departmental committees for prevention and fight against crime;
- Ensure the recruitment, management wizards of Proximity Security (ASP) and their deployment for employment at the Police and Gendarmerie;
- Develop rules of conduct, ethics and discipline in the area of ??prevention for Assistants;
- Prepare and promote any study and reflection on the development of community policing activities, especially in the area of ??prevention.
