 The Senegalese News Agency today occupies a prominent place in the Senegalese media landscape. She experienced in pain as smooth , deep changes. The changes were in men and directions in the writing style and the mode of distribution of the information.

Missions

 Collect, process and disseminate information through its website ( www.aps.sn ), the main window of APS, this is the permanent mission, as well qu'exaltante , the Senegalese News Agency .

In 2005, after a study , the International Organization of the Francophonie ( OIF) has designated the APS as the most used by African newspapers francophone West agency. In December 2010 the APS website is the top 20 most visited portals Senegal , according to a classification made by the International Communication Office ( INTERCOM).

The expectations placed on the national agency are increasingly important and require , now more than ever, to do more and better in the fair, impartial and real-time information .
