National Agency for the Promotion of Youth Employment ( ANPEJ )

Presentation

 It was created by Decree No. 2014-26 of January 9, 2014 an administrative structure known as : National Agency for the Promotion of Youth Employment ( ANPEJ ) .

The National Agency for the Promotion of Youth Employment ( ANPEJ ) is a legal entity of public law , endowed with financial autonomy and placed under the technical supervision of the Ministry of Employment and the financial supervision of the Minister of Finance.

The ANPEJ headquartered in Dakar and may have decentralized branches in other regions.

Missions

 The ANPEJ mission is to implement the Government's policy of promoting youth employment.

As such, it is responsible for:

- Establishing integrated information and monitoring of the target groups on the labor market system;

- Facilitate the conditions for access to employment, youth and target groups;

- Enhance the employability of young people and target groups;

- Establish an effective information system on the labor market;

- Facilitate access of young people and target groups in project financing;

- Support and assist young people in the development and implementation;

- Conduct all actions that can promote youth employment;

- Developing the employability of hawkers program;

- Helping to strengthen the technical capacity and the level of civic consciousness of hawkers.

A performance contract for a period of three (3) years shall be established between the ANPEJ and regulators.
