Biography

Fiacre Coly is a civil engineering engineer training. He is from the region of Ziguinchor, where he also exercise his political activities. He holds the position of president of Ziguinchor County Council, an institution created with the new law on decentralization in Senegal. Before arriving at the station of his political career Fiacre Coly of several challenges. First activist in the Rally of Social Democrats / Takku Defaarat Senegaal (Rsd / Tds), Robert Sagna, he left his mentor on the eve of local elections in 2014 and created the sentinels of democracy, a common policy breast Rsd / Tds of the former mayor of Ziguinchor. At the time of the vote on 29 June 2014, Fiacre joined the Union for the development of Ziguinchor (UDZ-Kadiamore), a coalition around the opponent Abdoulaye Balde.
