Biography

Makhtar Dia is an engineer and Senegalese politician. Member of the Alliance for the Republic ( Apr ), it is representative of that party in the department Mbirkilane . In 2014, with the new law on decentralization of Senegal , the engineer Makhtar Dia acceded to the head of the county council of Mbirkilane . Of the 40 departmental advisers who took part in the vote, 24 voted favorably for a number of Apr to Mbirkilane . He is assisted in his mission by Sadibou Cissé, his party municipal coordinator . Aside from his duties as council president , Makhtar Dia also since January 23, 2013, Director General of the Senegalese Agency for Industrial Property and Technological Innovation ( Aspit ) . A position previously occupied by Mrs. Adji Diop Sall , lawyer predecessor Makhtar Dia to the Senegalese Agency for Technological Innovation and Intellectual Property .
