Network of Women Teachers of French ( REPROF - EFFA )

Presentation

 According to the Law of 1 July 1901 , he created a French Teachers Network for the Education of Girls and Women in Africa ( REPROF / EFFA ) , headquartered at the Faculty of Science and Technology Education and Training ( FASTEF ) . Its purpose is neither political nor union nor religious or lucrative.

Missions

 In the first decade of the XXI century, the challenges are becoming more and more pressing needs.

The French Teachers Network for Girls Education and Training of Women in Africa (REPROF-EFFA) was formed under the auspices of IPPF and OIF, at the time of mobilization for the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) is more relevant than ever.

It is, for every African French teacher for each teacher, each teacher for educators we are. Because we cannot  we cannot long remain indifferent to the need for justice and fairness, this call to build a world where there will be less violence against girls and women, fewer barriers to maintaining them to school and literacy, that is to say their full development.

The time has indeed come for us to emerge from the shadows of our consciences, to open the windows of our classrooms and our lecture halls to the realities of our continent, Africa.

For this, we must first train us, to be good teachers, that is to say, responsible adults and aware of these development imperatives that are the education of girls and training of African women.

The stakes are high. But together, because we are thousands, because we're not afraid to innovate by engaging us, we will adhere to REPROF-EFFA, we will make the torch of struggle against obscurantism and for the liberation of our continent.
