Presentation
The African League of Human and Peoples' Rights (L.AD.H.P) is a pan-African non-governmental organization .
It appeals to everyone in Africa fighting against injustice, illegality, arbitrariness, intolerance, racial discrimination and for the emancipation of peoples.
This is what explains that since its creation in July 1987, Senegal’s section has invested in the extension and the freedom to come and go and human rights education.
Some of the activities in this framework, especially those related to torture enabled the L.A.D.H.P to collaborate successfully with Amnesty International. However, although very important or critical to the promotion and respect of human rights by the state, it soon became apparent to members of the L.A.D.H.P that this activity was partial, therefore incomplete.
