 The Ministry of Training, Learning and Handicrafts of Senegal led by Mr. Mamadou Talla .

Missions

 The Ministry of Training, Learning and Craft prepares and implements the policy defined by the Head of State in the fields of technical and vocational training, learning and crafts .

Under the vocational training:

• It shall be responsible for managing all disciplines of technical and vocational training;

• He is responsible for the academic supervision and control of any training in technical or professional nature, and must ensure its relevance to the economy.

• It facilitates the acquisition of professional knowledge by all Senegalese and ensures the quality of training in all sectors.

• it is responsible to facilitate the insertion of graduates and trained.

• It promotes learning and ensure the modernization of traditional apprenticeship.

• It ensures the opening of technical and vocational disciplines of academia and should promote cooperation with private companies:

Under crafts:

• Ensures the development of crafts, promotion and export of handicrafts and modernization of this sector. To this end, it facilitates the access of craftsmen to finance their activities.

• encourages and monitors the implementation of craft villages in local authorities.
