Mr. Mame Niang Mbaye is head of the Ministry of Youth , Employment and Citizen Building from 22 July 2014 .

Missions

The Ministry of Youth, Employment and Citizen Building following the Decree 2014-893 of 22 July 2014 prepares and implements the policy defined by the Head of State in matters of youth, employment and promotion civic values. Under youth and civic construction: • It ensures social and economic advancement of youth and their groups. It provides support and ensures the development of social and educational activities for youth; • participates in the training of young people in all areas and contribute to their preparation to assume their responsibilities as citizens; • It helps strengthen the patriotic culture. As such, it initiates actions in relation to all forces to make citizenship an engine of national development. It is responsible for national service. Under employment: • He is charged in connection with the Minister of Labour, and in consultation with employers' organizations to implement strategies and programs for employment; • To ensure the smooth functioning and transparency of the labor market; • may have, as necessary, all relevant state structures in employment.
