Biography
Mary Teuw Niane is a Professor of exceptional class of Mathematics. Born July 15, 1954 in Dakar Bango (St. Louis), he attended school in his hometown until 1975, the year he joined the preparatory classes for the Grandes Ecoles in France. After six years of study, the student Mary Teuw Niane obtained his Master of Mathematics at the University Paul Sabatier in Toulouse. On his return to Senegal he brilliantly gets his 3rd cycle thesis in 1984, followed by his State Doctorate of Science Mathematics in 1990. After ten years of teaching at the University Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar, he decided to join the new University Gaston Berger of Saint-Louis. Became director of the Applied Mathematics and Informatics Ufr, he rose through the ranks and became the third President and President of the University Gaston Berger of 2006-2012. This is thanks to the first government reorganization that Professor Mary Teuw Niane was appointed Minister of Higher Education and Research of the Government of Abdul. A position he held in the governments that followed.
