Biography

Born April 16, 1971 in Dakar, Diop Malick is a Doctor of Pharmacy, Industry option, a graduate of the University Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar in 1998. Member of the College of Pharmacists of Senegal, he also holds a Master of Business Administration. After his training, he joined the Jensen Pharmaceutical laboratory as agent for 3 years. In 2001, he traveled in the sub-region and occupies a position of responsibility in the private pharmaceutical industry. Later, he returned to Senegal to open a pharmacy in Dakar. political leader and spokesman of the Alliance of Progressive Forces (AFP), Dr Malick Diop was elected mayor of the municipality of Fann-Point E-Amitié between 2009 and 2014 on the basis of the list of Benno Siggil Senegal, a opposition coalition. In local 2014, then candidate of the presidential majority Benno Bokk Yaakaar, the aedile of Point E fought for the list of Taxawou Dakar Khalifa Sall coalition mayor. Moreover, Director of the Senegalese Agency for Export Promotion (ASEPEX) since February 2013, Dr Malick Diop leads new guidelines address the challenges of food security and climate change.
