Biography
Radio present from 1970 to Senegal, his career is almost completely identified with the history of the Senegalese audiovisual. Sokhna Dieng was the recipient of a Radio Senegal entrance exam that allows him to perform at the Studio School of Montrouge, a course that form in journalism and production agent. Upon returning to Senegal in 1971, she was immediately recruited by the Senegal national television broadcast Office (ORTS), who entrusted him with animation and presentation of spoken newspaper. In 1972, when television started in Senegal, she became the first woman to present the television news. From 1977 to 1984, she reports, amine debates on trays such as "Folder in hand", "1 hour to convince", "Right question / answer duty" as well as major electoral debates. In recent years, the lady is involved in politics alongside her husband, Serigne Modou Kara Mbacke. Former Deputy President of the Senate, Sokhna Dieng is now member of the National Assembly. With his courage and charisma, parliamentary unashamedly defends his stance in the Chamber. Not surprising since the former journalist is known for his outspokenness, but also for its scrupulous compliance with administrative standards. These professional and political careers exceptional earned him many honors, including the title of Commander of the National Order of Merit and Annette Price Erneville to the press during its 2010 edition.
