Biography

Appointed Minister Delegate to the Ministry of Women since July 2014, Moustapha Diop is chosen to support the Minister Mariama Sarr. He is responsible for managing microfinance in coaching women's organizations and solidarity economy. The current mayor of Louga Department (since June 2014) did his primary school curriculum as the capital of ndiambour. The Scientific Bachelor of pocket, he joined the faculty of Economics and Management of the University Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar (UCAD) in 2000. Soon after, he heads to France where he simultaneously picks up a science degree economic, and a Masters in finance and banking at the University of Besançon. The Minister will eventually get another master in financial management of local authorities at the University of Grenoble. Back in Senegal, he joined the Caisse des Consignations Deposit as a financial analyst. In 2011, he was appointed Director of the National Entrepreneurship Fund. A position he held until his appointment as Minister Delegate to the Minister of Women, Family and Children, in charge of Micro-finance and solidarity economy. Politically, Moustapha Diop is responsible for the Alliance for the Republic in Louga. And the image of his party leader Macky Sall, it is also from the ranks of the Senegalese Democratic Party.
