 The Department of Public Service, the rationalization of the workforce and the Renewal of the public service is directed from July 22, 2014 by Madame Viviane Laure Elisabeth Bampassy .

Missions

 Under the authority of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Public Service, the Streamlined Workforce Renewal and Public Sector prepares and implements the policy defined by the Head of State in the fields of public service and the modernization of public services. It is responsible for the administration of public officials under the general status of civil servants and non-civil servant’s agents. He represents the State in the competent international technical bodies for public service. It ensures the implementation of a dynamic policy on public service. It ensures downsizing. It ensures the productivity of public administration through the establishment of a performance management system to improve its contribution to development. It promotes a good reception of users and ensures the establishment of mechanisms and tools to meet their expectations. It ensures the quality of public services and the promotion of social dialogue in the public service. It commits the necessary initiatives to modernize public action. It prepares the legislation and regulations relating to the public service and ensure their proper implementation.
